For the second year in a row, LawCPD participated in the Disrupting Law Hackathon in Perth. Over 54 hours, five teams of law students came up with creative, innovative, technology-based solutions to a range of real-life issues facing the legal profession.

Monday the 13th May marks the start of Law Week 2019 - a week dedicated to raising awareness about legal services in the community. Over 54 hours, 35 students working in 7 teams came up with innovative, creative and disruptive solutions to real-world legal problems.
Each March, the Women Lawyers of Western Australia celebrate the achievements of women in the law at their Annual Honours Dinner. The event honours women who have recently been appointed to the bench, and to other significant leadership positions in the legal profession. It is also the night when the winners of the prestigious Woman Lawyer of the Year Awards are announced, as well as the winner of the Aboriginal Women’s Legal Education Trust Scholarship.
