Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts/Law and a Post Graduate Diploma in Commercial Law from Monash University. She is a registered Trade Mark Attorney and runs a law firm in Melbourne called Sharon Givoni Consulting, specialising in intellectual property and commercial law. Her firm can assist with all aspects of commercial law and intellectual property law as well as defamation law and entertainment law.

As the General Editor of the prestigious LexisNexis Intellectual Property Law, Internet Law and Privacy Law Bulletins, Sharon is always at the forefront of legal issues in these areas. Sharon has written a book called Owning It: A Creative’s Guide to Copyright, Contracts and the Law. Owning it has almost sold out across Australia and become a go to guide for not only creatives, but also legal professionals.

Sharon has been invited to speak at over 100 industry conferences Australia-wide on IP and business-related topics as well as at a number of universities including Melbourne University and RMIT.
