Sam has extensive experience in criminal prosecutions, working as both a prosecutor and as defence counsel on both trials and appeals.
Sam started practicing in the area of general litigation and commercial law before taking up a role as a Crown Prosecutor with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Western Australia in 1996.
In 2004, Sam accepted a statutory appointment as a Crown Prosecution in New South Wales. He then returned to Perth in 2006 to work as a Consultant State Prosecutor at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Western Australia.
Sam currently practices in the areas of criminal law and commercial litigation, and has extensive experience in conducting trials at all levels as well as appearing in appeals before the Court of Appeal and the High Court.
