Professor Bradley Wendel

Professor of Law at Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York, Bradley Wendel is a leading legal ethicist and author.
Bradley is the author of Lawyers and Fidelity to Law, published in 2010 by Princeton University Press. Brad teaches torts and professional responsibility, and is a co-editor of the widely adopted casebook, The Law and Ethics of Lawyering, now in its fifth edition, and is the author of a student textbook, Professional Responsibility: Examples and Explanations, now in its third edition.
Before entering law teaching he practiced at a large law firm in Seattle and clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals. Bradley's research focuses on the application of moral and political philosophy to legal ethics.
Bradley received his B.A. from Rice University, his J.D. from Duke University, and an LL.M. and J.S.D. with a concentration in legal philosophy from Columbia University.
