Dr Olivia Rundle

Senior Lecturer & Author University of Tasmania

Dr Olivia Rundle is a senior lecturer, author and mediator, specialising in the areas of family law, dispute resolution, and civil procedure.

Olivia wrote her PhD about lawyers' engagement in court-connected mediation, and co-authored the books Mediation for Lawyers and Sex, Gender, Sexuality and the Law.

She is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Tasmania, a Teaching Fellow at UNSW, a freelance educator, researcher and writer, and also co-owns and operates a small berry farm distillery in Barrington, Tasmania.

Olivia’s work includes research, teaching and community engagement in the three broad areas of lawyers and dispute resolution, family law, and legal recognition of personal relationships. Olivia has held several leadership positions within the Law School and she is actively involved in the broader legal, dispute resolution and research community.
